During my residency I developed a style of bright colours and bold shapes while working with the residents, engaging in artistic interventions and collaborations with them and documenting our conversations. This exhibition is a series of works inspired by the new style that I developed and the conversations that I had, as well as events from my everyday life during that time.
"Art at the Trattoria" is a new monthly venue hosting art exhibitions. These are curated by Katja Heber and Paola Vernizzi in turns. Our goal is, apart from providing a place for people to meet and/or discuss art in a welcoming, friendly and fun environment, to provide emerging and established artists with exhibition space and the opportunity to promote and sell their work. The Trattoria Sapori is apart from being an excellent Pizzeria and Italian restaurant a stylish and very cosy venue with some fantastic wall space to display art on.
Should you be an artist and interested in exhibition space, don't hesitate to contact us.
