Hello everyone,
I hope you had a super merry Christmas and an excellent new year! Happy 2020!
My
courses are rolling out this week, starting with a full day of life
drawing from 10am - 3.30pm, this Saturday, Jan. 11th. It's at Adult
Learning Lewisham's Brockley Rise Centre and you can find out more and
book a place here:
Then,
on Friday January 17th, you can have some fun experimenting with
watercolour. It's a five week course on Friday afternoons, 1-3pm. Here's
the link:
If
you want to pack loads of art fun into one day, and learn lots of
techniques from measuring, construction and mark making, to texture with
paint and pastel still life, join my Super Art Saturday course on Jan.
25th, by going here:
If
you prefer my independent classes, please join me at Nunhead's
Salvation Army Hall SE15, on Tuesday mornings from 10am - 1pm. I'll be
running Exploring Creativity, where we learn about a new artist each
week, and make work inspired by their story.
We kick off on January 14th with Georgia O' Keeffe. The following week we'll look at Rita Ackerman.
The
next three weeks will be inspired by still life artist Clara Peeters.
We'll be working from the same still life arrangement for three weeks
before the half term break. So you'll have the opportunity to try out
oil paints if you like.
Pay
upfront for the whole ten weeks, or drop in here and there for £20 per
session (concessions are also available). For more info and to guarantee
your spot please email me.
And
last but not least, you can find me at Wave Cafe in Muswell Hill this
month. Come and relax, have some tasty food, chat with pals, try out fun
activities and make some art:
I'm also excited to be involved in some fabulous exhibitions, more news on those coming soon!
