I forgot to mention that I'll have my work for sale at Art Hub's Xmas Market this Saturday December 6th. The address is The Mornington Centre, Stanley Street, London SE8 4BL 
The event runs from 11am - 5pm. Come and find some unique and quirky gifts and stocking fillers, including funky cat wallets and spooky fingers!

 Hi everyone!


I've been super busy with lots of exciting projects happening, and there are more to come!

I left my teaching post for Adult Learning Lewisham, so I won't be teaching there any more. But I have lots of independent classes running and more in the pipeline. Watch this space!

I'm running drop in life drawing sessions at my Art Hub studio in Deptford on Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm. There are 3 left, and this week - December 3rd - I've got Alice and Gordon doing a multi model medley. The cost is £10 on the door, cash or card, no need to book, and the address is Art Hub Studios CIC, Stanley Street SE8 4BL. It's 3 minutes walk from New Cross Station, entry is through the gallery door. I hope to see you there!

My Exploring Creativity classes have just started up again, there are lots of really interesting artists to explore this term, so if you fancy a cosy zoom class on a Tuesday morning - 9.30am - 12.30pm - to keep your creative juices flowing, please email me for more information. You can join as many or as few as you want, prices start at £45 per class, but there's a pay what you can option, minimum suggested payment £5 per class or anything in between. On Saturday December 13th, between 12 and 3pm, I'm teaming up with Sarah Sparkes and Frog Morris to deliver a one off Xmas lantern making workshop. It takes place at Art Hub Studios CIC on Stanley Street SE8 4BL, and costs £20, including materials. Please email me for more information.




I'm also planning some studio style drop in watercolour classes on Friday mornings starting in January 2026.

These classes will offer you the space to experiment and develop your work, with close guidance and suggestions from me.

They'll take place at Art Hub Studios CIC, Stanley Street SE8 4BL. 
They'll run from 10am - 12.30pm on Friday mornings  
January 16th, 
23rd and 30th 
February 6th and 13th. 

The cost, including art materials, is £15 per class, but if you are struggling please email me to discuss the pay what you can option. Please email me to find out more and book your place! All materials are provided.

I'm running a life drawing drop in tomorrow, Thursday October 9th, 2-5pm at my art studio space Art Hub studios CIC, Stanley Street, London SE8 4BL, downstairs in the project space.

The model is Tattooed Nude aka Craig.
 
It's £10 cash or card. Pay on the day and no need to book. I hope to see you!




And on the weekend of October 18th I have a small wall with Parallax Art Fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall, Kings Road, London SW3 5EE . I'll be showing my new semi abstract miniature landscape paintings. These works have never been exhibited before. 

The private view is on Friday 17th from 6pm, please email vox@joart.info to rsvp.

 Hello everyone!






I'm very happy that my exhibition Fenestration has been included as part of the East Dulwich Open House festival. I'll be there in person to chat with you on Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th from 12 midday to 6pm. Please pop along and see my new work! I'll also have a table of small artworks and cards for sale on those days, including some very special brand new pieces inspired by my time in Ohio USA!

We spend the first hour exploring an artist and learning about their life and work. I deliver a presentation, followed by a discussion and a tea break, after which I present a live art demonstration for you to follow along to. 

All the information and ideas for the practical arrive via email the Sunday before class, and there's an optional email sharing thread where you can post your work to get feedback and chat with each other if you wish after class, by hitting "reply all" when you send the email.

Choose as many or as few classes as you like, it's up to you! Just let me know which ones you want to attend. It's fine even if you only want to come once. The cost is "pay what you can", minimum £5 and maximum £45 per class. Pay whatever you can afford. My payment details remain the same:
